MxNS | Blonk’s expansion to the US
Over the past few years Mérieux NutriSciences | Blonk has already been active in North America, in several footprinting projects. Our US expansion started in May 2021, when we welcomed Marty Heller to the team. Marty represented us in the US and Canada and expanded our LCA business to North America. Now, we are very excited that we officially opened an office in Washington DC, where we have moved into WWF US’s office building. Our colleagues Janjoris and Alessandra recently joined Marty on the ground and in the coming months the team will expand with more footprinting experts.
Let's celebrate: Opening Event
To celebrate our arrival in the US, we are organizing a hybrid event.

With this event we would like to introduce our US team, share some knowledge, and exchange ideas on the need for harmonized footprint data for the US food industry. We see that there is a lack of a methodologically consistent environmental footprint database for the US food industry, which is urgently needed for the increasing number of environmental reporting and target setting across agricultural supply chains. During the event we will explain the current landscape, share challenges, and provide perspectives on solutions.
